I participated in the QSITE Conference 'Catch Up or Staying Ahead' at Moreton Bay College, Brisbane Australia on 26 October 2007.
I was fortunate enough to attend the keynote presentation and workshop by world renowned educational thinker, Dr Jamie McKenzie. For those who don't know Jamie's work in the field of education, his ideas can be best described as provocative and positively challenging. Jamie critiques the 'cart before the horse' analogy whereby sc… Continue

Thank you for the invitation to participate with others in your Ning "My Learning Space." I am an Assistant Professor within the School of Education at the University of Guam. I am getting my course syllabi ready for the Fall 08 semester; and I am planning to introduce 2 or 3 technology tools for my undergraduate students to become familiar with and include into their lesson plans. They will be introduced to 'del.icio.us' and 'Slideshare.' I am thinking of adding 'Voice Thread' and 'Diigo.' We meet twice a week in a Mac/PC computer lab and use MOODLEROOMS as their course management system.
I encourage you to make an suggestions that you think will engage future teachers.

Just came across this learning network by chance! I like the open learning site you have set up for educators and have added a link to our CPD section on the IE Directory (http://edubloggerdir.blogspot.com). Have also added the address of the network to our wiki - (http://sites.google.com/a/edubloggerdir.org/index/Home)
